Like last year the charity offers a bunch of activities to collect money "fur de kinda".
Again we will have a room on the first floor, take the stairs and then turn left!

 

The auction will again be held on saturday at 6 p.m. in the main hall. Mark Ferguson is announced to be the auctioneer and we have no doubt he will bring along some of his NZ friends to make it a real comedy treat for all of us!

 

All items that to not go into the auction will be sold at our booth. Our room is on the first floor, on the left. We try to open between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Here you can also examine the auction-items before they go on stage.

This is also the place where you can buy these cute charity teddies!

 

Like last year the message board members keep saving their loose change for the charity. If you could count the coins in advance and tell us the amount this would be a real help for Lydia ;)

At this point a letter follows which basicly says the charity-team will stop with the charity after this years RingCon. We did hope Nic and Yamica could be Sheha´s, Glaewen´s and Astrantia´s replacement, but unfortunately they can not go on in the future as well...

We´d like to thank everybody for the four wonderful years you did share with us and hope you will always carry "fur de kinda" in your heart and keep giving for the children in some other way!

So, ihr Lieben
Nun werde ich mal diesen post "hinter mich bringen".
Wir finden es so berührend, wie ihr mit uns dieses Jahr wieder eine wundervolle Charity auf die Beine stellt.

Und dann kommen gleich wieder Ideen und Angebote für das kommende Jahr (wie z.B. der Kaffe von Mr. Frodo). Dabei wird uns das Herz schwer. Denn wir müssen euch leider sagen, dass wir die Charity dieses Jahr das letzte Mal organisieren können - Ohje, ich könnte schon beim tippen losheulen .

Aber es ist einfach so:

Glaewen hat mit der Charity letztes Jahr aufhören müssen.
Astrantia macht dieses Jahr wieder wunderschön die homepage, musste sich aber ebenfalls aus der Organisation der Charity auskoppeln.
Yami und Nic haben die vergangenen beiden Jahre die Charity mit organisiert, um sie dann ganz zu übernehmen, stellten aber auch für sich fest, dass sie nicht weitermachen können.
Bleibe noch ich und auch ich kann euch nur versichern, dass diese Entscheidung nicht leicht gefallen ist. Aber dass es auch bei mir private Gründe hat, die ich hier nicht ausbreiten möchte.Dafür bitte ich euch um euer Verständnis und das Vertrauen in die Aussage, dass es einfach nicht mehr zu schaffen ist



Somit können wir nur hoffen, dass ihr nicht zu enttäuscht seid, eure Hilfe für die Charity nicht bereut und wie wir versucht zu sehen, dass die 4 Jahre den Kindern etwas gebracht habe (hoffentlich).

Wir hoffen sehr, auch dieses Jahr noch einmal ein wunderbares Ergebnis fur de Kinda zu erreichen.

Und ich denke, so wie es bei uns heißen wird "im Herzen waren, sind und bleiben die Kinder", werdet auch ihr das sagen. Unsere Hilfe für Kranke, Schwache, sozial Benachteiligte, Hungernde, Ungeliebte undundund wird nie ganz aufhören, nicht mehr in der Form der Charity, aber sie wird auch nicht ganz aufhören, versprochen!

So, nun ist es "heraus". Aber wir wollten euch ehrlich und vorher darüber informieren.
